Foundations Assessment Week

The Foundations Assessment Week is the starting point. This week allows me to understand your dog as they live day to day, not just how they behave during a single session.

Rather than guessing or applying generic solutions, this process looks at behavior patterns, nervous system regulation, temperament, and household structure over time.

Includes:

  • One in-home assessment (45–60 minutes)

  • Simple daily observations and structure

  • One Zoom review session

  • Clear recommendations for next steps

Why this matters:

A single session can’t reliably show real-world behavior. This week gives us the clarity needed to choose the right path forward.

Foundations and
Early Life Conditioning

Early experiences shape everything that follows. This program focuses on building regulation, confidence, and structure before unwanted behaviors take hold.

Best for:

  • Puppies and young dogs

  • New dog owners

  • Early confidence and resilience building

  • Preventing future behavior issues

Focus areas:

  • Internal regulation and emotional recovery

  • Obedience Foundation

  • Environmental confidence

  • Social neutrality

  • Early structure and routines

Adolescents & Adult Dogs

A longer-term reset for dogs who missed early foundations or have established habits that interfere with calm, reliable behavior.

This program rebuilds internal regulation so obedience and behavior change can succeed.

Best for:

  • Adolescent dogs (6–24 months)

  • Adult dogs with persistent challenges

  • Dogs who completed obedience but still struggle

  • Reactivity, anxiety, impulsivity, or over-stimulation

Virtual Training & Consulting

Available for clients outside the local area or those who prefer remote support. This is the same assessment-first, foundations-based approach adapted for Zoom.

Good fit for:

  • Non-local or international clients

  • Owners comfortable with hands-on participation

  • Flexible scheduling needs

Free Education and Consultation -Veterinary Clinics, Shelters & Rescues

Why it matters

Veterinary teams, shelters, and rescues sit at the center of the canine welfare system. Early, thoughtful education and planning can prevent escalation, reduce unnecessary suffering, and improve long-term outcomes . I believe it’s part of my professional responsibility to offer this support freely in service of the broader community.

Includes

  • Staff or volunteer in-service education (in person or via Zoom)

  • Case consultation and behavior planning for individual dogs

  • Guidance around behavior assessment, prevention, and humane decision-making

  • Collaborative discussion tailored to your organization’s needs—or all of the above

This service is educational and consultative in nature and is not a referral program or marketing arrangement. Content and format are flexible and shaped collaboratively.

A Note on Commitment

Meaningful change requires participation and follow-through, as the way we show up for our dogs directly affects how they’re able to move through the world with us. I work best with clients who are willing to engage in the process and apply the guidance consistently. If the work is no longer a good fit, I reserve the right to discontinue services in a fair and respectful way.
